The Ramblings of a Somewhat Unstable Mind

1) A person who blogs about head banging, heavy metal music.

2) A relic from the 60’s sexual and drug revolutions, who imbibes exorbitantly while blogging.

3) A blogger who bangs their head on their computer repeatedly while aggravated.

Subject to change without notice. Words may appear closer in a mirror than they actually are. 9 out of 10 librarians are mousey introverts, 19 times out of 20, yet still manage to be sexy. This site is not endorsed by the SPCB (the second SPC (society of the prevention of Cruelty to Animals being the first one), the apathetic “Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Bloggers”.

  1. Okay, you got my attention! Maybe there’s a need for this word. Hey, how do new words find their way into the dictionary? We perennially ask this question every time we play Scrabble.

    • Thanks for the visit, Jayna!

Each year, the people at Merriam Webster get together and hash out the more popular new words making it into mainstream conversation – like “LOL” making it in as an acronym for Laughing Out Loud…

  2. I like #3. Now where did I put that ice pack for my head…

    • Thanks for the visit, Christy!

Yeah, frustration breeds some rather destructive behavior – like throwing the remote at the TV or banging your computer when you lose something you’ve just spent an hour writing!

  3. Yes that just happened to me actually.. except luckily I had only written for about 10 mins… bang bang bang…
    Oh and
(how’s that for a link embedded in my comment?!)

    • That’s cute – but, try to use your links in a way that they make sense – like “Great post! It reminds me of the post I wrote the other day , which is very similar to the points you’re making here”…

i have “sticky notes” on my laptop – if you happen to hit the wrong key at the wrong time, blam!, there goes all the work – so i set my laptop to do automatic saves every 5 minutes, so that’s the most work i lose

i liked your music post, but did expect to see more of a dissection rather than an introduction.

  4. Some of my best post are written entirely by forehead. Then again, most of my comments are, too.
