The Ramblings of a Somewhat Unstable Mind

How it all starts

Acronym for “Blogging will only lead to hurt egos”.

Do you have a favorite fake blog-related word that you often use, or think should be a real word? Leave it as a comment, along with a short definition and the phonetics of the word/acronym, and I will do my best to include it in an upcoming post. Hey, ‘ya never know, there could be a book out of this!

Subject to change without notice. Words may appear closer in a mirror than they actually are. 9 out of 10 librarians are mousey introverts, 19 times out of 20, yet still manage to be sexy. This site is not endorsed by the SPCB (the second SPC (society of the prevention of Cruelty to Animals being the first one), the apathetic “Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Bloggers”.

  1. Oh the fragile ego, how I don’t want to hurt you!

‘Blogerrific’ is a great blog that everyone wants to follow and immediately adds a ‘like’ to every post.

  2. I will try to include that in an upcoming post!

great suggestion, always a pleasure to have you visit me!

  3. Marc, I like “Blogopoly” (blog-aw-puh-ly)n., 1. Description for a dynasty of related series of blogs and posts that inhabit / define a blogging style or methodology.

The perfect blogopoly is operated by a savvy, hard-working blogopolist.

For instance, as Christy B knows, Red runs a blogerrific blogopoly that few people can emulate ! “:)

    • Thanks, Raymond!

That is a good one, look for it in a soon to be released word of the day feature.

Wouldn’t a “Blogopoly” be more of a one-person sided blog series, like The Beer Store is in Ontario for beer drinkers? That’s the only place in Ontario that you can buy beer…

    • Raymond, why are you bringing me into this dictionary of words.. haha just kidding and wanted to intervene by saying ‘my bloggness this is a good blog’ (insert groans here)

  4. Marc, I also like “waterblogged”. That’s pretty well self-explanatory, where a blog is not continually enriched, the content gets thinner as it goes, until it is waterblogged.
