The Ramblings of a Somewhat Unstable Mind

Blogulous:

Yes! Yes! Come on! Yes! Yes! You so blogulous! (see #2)

(blah-gue-luss)

(1)  A blog that incites or promotes feelings of excitement in other bloggers.  As in, “Oh my, that’s such a blogulous blog!”

(2)  A sarcastic expression of envy for a blog post.  As in, “Oh MY, that’s such a blogulous post! … Is it just me, or are you simply too pitiful?  Voted sad, pitiful, empty, forlorn.”

*note

Today’s post was brought to you by Pepsi Cola and Joe Luis Snack Cakes (the official Quebeciose breakfast).  Also contributing (the written, skillful part, anyways – sheesh, some people want all the accolades!) by Julie Catherine!  (thanks, Julie!).  Please visit Julie’s excellent blog, where she writes about poetry, writing (with great, helpful tips for starters!) and other great musings    at  http://juliecatherinevigna.wordpress.com/

*note;  if you have any suggestions for a fake, blogging-related word or acronym that you like, despise or use, please leave it as a comment, along with a short definition and the phonetics. Your suggestions may well be an upcoming daily feature!

Subject to change without notice. Words may appear closer in a mirror than they actually are. 9 out of 10 librarians  are mousey introverts, 19 times out of 20, yet still manage to appear to be sexy. This site is not endorsed by the SPCB (the second SPC (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty) in the phone book – the SPCA (Animals) hogged the first spot on me again! Those brutes!) the apathetic and appallingly apropos “Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Bloggers” (donations accepted and suggested).

“Yes! Yes! Come on! Yes! Yes! You so blogulous!” – Hahaha, love the cartoon! Also love the expansion of #2, LOL! Thanks so much Marc, you made my day ~ Julie 🙂

  2. Julie and Marc team up, woot woot! Good job to you both.

  3. Go read your comments. I have left bread crumbs 🙂
    Red.

    • Ooh, now all I need is to get me some meat!!! Thanks, Red!

      • Lauracute socks! I have a dog that’s half rat terrier and half mini aulatrsian shepherd. She’s all black (like super dark, jet black) with white paws so cute!! She knows how to sit, lay down, shake, give a one-pawed and a two-pawed high five, hop up onto my arm with two paws, and give a kiss smart puppy!

  4. You have such a blogulous blog! 😛

    • Thanks for the visit, and the wonderful compliment, Gabriela! Why not make a suggestion for a fake, blogging-related word of the day feature? Just include your word or acronym, the phonetics and a short definition, and it will make it into the feature, along with a link to your site!

  5. Bloggravation (Blah-rah-vA-shun) 1. Condition caused by inability to end a blog post. 2. Condition caused when seeing eight other blogs with same subject on the night before your post is scheduled to go live. 3. Condition caused by finding all emailed links to your post are broken.
Symptoms: Profanity, head banging (desk, keyboard, palm), desire to toss laptop out nearest window.

    • Thanks for the visit, Red, and all of the great suggestions! They are all finding homes in the Word of the Day feature, along with links to your blog.

Just might wanna make sure that that window is open, with a flexible screen in it, so you don`t have to keep buying new laptops!

      • I gave up glass screens about 50 stitches ago. You should make the links inline instead of flat where users have to C/P them into a browser. Use the WYSWIG link button at the top of the post box. Highlight the text, press the button, enter link, update. Done.
