The Ramblings of a Somewhat Unstable Mind

Marablog

Just one more blog, just one more blog...

(Meh-rah-blahg)

1)  The blog post which is 2,600 words and longer.

2)  The blog series with 26 installments,

3) The blog comment which takes 26 minutes to read. By the time you are ready to reply, you have usually forgotten what the comment was about.

Today’s feature was brought to you by Red (Ann Marie Dwyer) through a comment on a recent Word of the Day feature.  Please give Red a visit, she has an award-winning blog with a variety of helpful and interesting topics, poetry, cheap recipes, it pretty much does everything but make Julienne fries!  Visit her here;

*NOTE;  IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR A FAKE, BLOGGING-RELATED WORD OR ACRONYM THAT YOU LIKE, DESPISE OR USE, PLEASE LEAVE IT AS A COMMENT, ALONG WITH A SHORT DEFINITION AND THE PHONETICS. YOUR SUGGESTIONS MAY WELL BE AN UPCOMING DAILY FEATURE!

Subject to change without notice. Words may appear closer in a mirror than they actually are. 9 out of 10 librarians  are mousey introverts, 19 times out of 20, yet still manage to appear to be sexy. This site is not endorsed by the SPCB (the second SPC (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty) in the phone book – the SPCA (Animals) hogged the first spot on me again! Those brutes!) the apathetic and appallingly apropos “Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Bloggers” (donations accepted and suggested).

  1. Yikes now that would be a long comment to read!

    • Thanks for the visit, Christy! Have you not seen any of these? There are some blog posts that would take over a half hour to read, if you found someone’s daily chores interesting (today i went to the store, on the way there,,,,). or the ones that have lots of installments to them? the continued stories? They’re everywhere – people think you will want to come back each day to read the next chapter of their book that doesn’t really follow a story line…

      • Well I have seen some loooong posts. If the subject is good and the writing has good style I am more likely to read the entire post. The longest comment I received was 3 paragraphs long. I took it as a compliment that the reader was so interested in my post!

        • Yet sometimes even the better bloggers go a little too long winded… i can’t take the time to spend reading 1/2 hour or longer posts when I have so many that I follow and read daily!

  2. I am fortunate. The longest winded tend to find their way into the inbox 😉
    Red.

    • Thanks for the visit, Red! Yes, but you get lots of hatemail! I am so jealous! I even wrote a blog questioning the existence of God, sure that it would garner my first hatemail, if not my first jihad!
