The Ramblings of a Somewhat Unstable Mind

Bloater

(Blow-Ter)

The heights of some blogger's egos is immeasurable...

1)  A person who writes posts with one or two sentences, or just reblogs other’s posts. This is considered “floating”, thus the marriage of the two words “Blogger” and “floater”.

2) A blogger who tries to float on their previous hard work by only writing posts that direct readers to the old originals.

*NOTE;  IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR A FAKE, BLOGGING-RELATED WORD OR ACRONYM THAT YOU LIKE, DESPISE OR USE, PLEASE LEAVE IT AS A COMMENT, ALONG WITH A SHORT DEFINITION AND THE PHONETICS. YOUR SUGGESTIONS WILL BE AN UPCOMING DAILY FEATURE!

CONTENTS OF THIS BLOG ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. WORDS MAY APPEAR CLOSER IN A MIRROR THAN THEY ACTUALLY ARE. 9 OUT OF 10 LIBRARIANS  ARE MOUSEY INTROVERTS, 19 TIMES OUT OF 20, YET STILL MANAGE TO APPEAR TO BE SEXY. THIS SITE IS NOT ENDORSED BY THE SPCB (THE SECOND SPC (SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY) IN THE PHONE BOOK – THE SPCA (ANIMALS) HOGGED THE FIRST SPOT ON ME AGAIN! THOSE BRUTES!) THE APATHETIC AND APPALLINGLY APROPOS “SOCIETY OF THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO BLOGGERS” (DONATIONS ACCEPTED AND SUGGESTED).  9 OUT OF 10 DOCTORS ARE APPARENTLY ON THE TAKE, SO WHEN YOU LOOK FOR MEDICAL ADVICE, MAKE SURE YOU ASK AT LEAST 20 DOCTORS…

  1. Oh dear, I believe “bloaters” are also called “recyclers” (definition #2)

    🙂

    PS Hi buddy!!

  2. I guess I have bloating tendencies. 😦

    1) I have reposted past blog entries because sometimes the entry becomes more relevant when reposted than when I originally posted it. (i.e. What I learned from Tim Tebow – http://ahmnodtheare.wordpress.com/2012/03/21/5191/)

    2) I post links to previous entries (not to save on writing but to show a prediction I had made earlier to come true or to show something I was the first to do on the campaign trail has been copied by another candidate. I also have written almost 1600 entries and the links save readers from having to search.

Never a bloater I’d become, never a bloater be – for first I’d float my blog far out upon an endless sea! 😀 LOL.
