Blogfather

(BlahG-Fah-ThurR)

i’m gonna make you a blog youi can’t refuse!

1)  The head of the online blogging costa nostra, or mafia family, that oversees who gets the best website names. Also known for having people sleep with the vowels and have horse’s manes in their bedrolls.

*NOTE;  HELP!!!  IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR A FAKE, BLOGGING-RELATED WORD OR ACRONYM THAT YOU LIKE, DESPISE OR USE, PLEASE LEAVE IT AS A COMMENT, ALONG WITH A SHORT DEFINITION AND THE PHONETICS. YOUR SUGGESTIONS WILL BE AN UPCOMING DAILY FEATURE!

CONTENTS OF THIS BLOG ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. WORDS MAY APPEAR CLOSER IN A MIRROR THAN  THEY ACTUALLY ARE. 9 OUT OF 10 LIBRARIANS  ARE MOUSEY INTROVERTS, 19 TIMES OUT OF 20, YET STILL MANAGE TO APPEAR TO BE SEXY. THIS SITE IS NOT ENDORSED BY THE SPCB (THE SECOND SPC (SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY) IN THE PHONE BOOK – THE SPCA (ANIMALS) HOGGED THE FIRST SPOT ON ME AGAIN! THOSE BRUTES!) THE APATHETIC AND APPALLINGLY APROPOS “SOCIETY OF THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO BLOGGERS” (DONATIONS ACCEPTED AND SUGGESTED).  9 OUT OF 10 DOCTORS ARE APPARENTLY ON THE TAKE, SO WHEN YOU LOOK FOR MEDICAL ADVICE, MAKE SURE YOU ASK AT LEAST 20 DOCTORS…

Even on tropical islands, BWB is known for lobbying for free internet access for all stranded sailors! (Computers and connectivity cables not included)

1)  The “good” acronym standing for “Bloggers Without Borders”, the sister charitable organization of “Doctors Without Borders”, “Drug Dealers Without Borders” and “Borders” (the book store, where they sell e-readers and iPad-type tablets as well as the ancient, nearly extinct paperback novels). This organization is responsible for having third world countries to provide high-speed, 4G internet and smartphone connectivity for all. The only problem is that only 3 people in every 128,976,248 people can afford the connection, let alone buying a computer every 3 to 5 years due to their becoming obsolete so damned quick!

2)  The “bad” acronym standing for “Black and White Bloggers”. This is not a race-specific blog society, but a blog society that is revolted by using color, either in text or pictures, in their blogs. You know who you are! Yes, you! I see you, right there! Stop! Stop it now!

Now, what would he have done when he was 30? Hmm, I should have taken better notes!

1)  A person who blogs about other bloggers, trying to tell their life stories through narrative.  The problem being that no bloggers have been found who tell the truth.

Oh, man! That's a deadly blog!

1)  An acronym for “Bloggers For Artfully Rendered Topics”.  The group is extremely small and poor to the point that they live under the Washington International Freeway Intersect (WIFI) bridge, hoping for free internet connections.

2) The prevalent sound made when bloggers get overly involved in blogging and reading other blogs, to the point of neglecting proper nutrition, inevitably resorting to eating canned beans, heated in the can, and enjoyed by all in their presence.

*note;  OKAY, come one! If you can’t see that i need some suggestions for fake, blog-related words or acronyms, you’re either blind or not following along.  Please, please, please send suggestions via comments, with a link to your blog’s most recent post (or your favorite) which will be included in the note, much like this one…

 Spamalot

Defender of the meek, killer of spammers, Sir Spamalot

(Spah-Mah-Laht)

1)  A medieval blogger who posts multiple short posts per day. The thought is that if they can get hundreds of views per day with one blog post, they should be able to get thousands of views with ten short posts.

2)  Bloggers who fill your inbox with notices of multiple blog postings per day. Some bloggers post 10 and more blogs per day, with each one being only 3 to 5 sentences long, or showing just 1 or 2 pictures.

*note;  Today’s post was brought to you by the Knights Templar, defenders of post readers and bloggers alike.

Bloghad

(Blog-Had)

Down with bloggers! Down with bloggers!

1)  The blogger’s version of a Jihad.  Any bloggers violating the sanctity of the well-written blog are subject to being hunted down and having their heads cut off by angry mobs of idiotic followers.

2)  When a blogger talks about something they wrote, they say “My bloghad some great content!”

Today’s sub-par post was brought to you, embarrassingly, by my dogs! (I can’t accept accolades for this crap! Help! I need suggestions!)

*note;  if you have any suggestions for a fake, blogging-related word or acronym that you like, despise or use, please leave it as a comment, along with a short definition and the phonetics. Your suggestions may well be an upcoming daily feature!

Subject to change without notice.

Encycloboggia

(ens-sphyche-klo-blog-gia)

The Encobloggia Blogganica

1) The imaginary dictionary that bloggers refer to as they casually make up words that fit into their comments and blogs. Can lead to large, bookish heads.

2) A nonsensical collection of made-up words geared towards blogging (yes, that’s tight – this series!)

*note;  if you have any suggestions for a fake, blogging-related word or acronym that you like, despise or use, please leave it as a comment, along with a short definition and the phonetics. Your suggestions may well be an upcoming daily feature!
