BLOGMA

(BlahG-Mah)

Funny enough, Ruffus has more followers than 99% of all bloggers…

1)  An ancient Indian semi-religious belief about what causes the entire cycle of cause and effect for bloggers and what they write.  Turns out that it’s mainly the blogger’s personality or personal beliefs that causes them to write what they write, and the effect is generally a post not worth reading.

“With a blog like that, you know you can’t go bad… She blogs you, yeah yeah yeah!”

1)  A pop group from the 50’s and 60’s who took the world by storm with their version of blog hop.  Songs such as Hey Blog, Yellow Blogmarine, Lady Blog and Blog Me were just a fragment of their number 1 hits.

Blogympics

(Blah-Gimp-Icks)

Signifying the five types of blog posts, the Blogympic rings is the most recognized symbol, aside from Coke, Pepsi, Nike, etc etc etc

1) The quasi-annual sporting event where bloggers from every country in the world get together to participate in sportingly blogging events, in the spirit of blogmanship. IBOC

(Eye-Bee-Oh-See)

Although used for a different purpose by snowboarders during the winter Olympics, the Olympic torch is used to light a fire under the butts of lazy bloggers worldwide

1)  An acronym for the organization “International Bloggers Olympic Committee”, which oversees the quasi-annual international blogging as a sport event.  Some of the sports include Blog Put, 100-word dash, personal hurdles, synchronized writing, blogging while mountain biking (one of the sports with the most physical injuries) and, the most costly event, water blogging.

Where the blog fellas roam

And the advertisers and subscribers pay all day

Where posts that I’ve read

And the readers write kudos all day”

BLOGOSCOLONY

(Blah-Go-ScoLL-On-Knee)

We’re losing him, people! 2Liters of whole verbs and acronyms, stat! We have the technology, unfortunately they don’t have the skills!

1)  A medical procedure where a blog is dissected and the rotten parts thrown out. Most blogs that undergo blogoscolonies usually end up with less than 10% of their original content.

(RoK-E-Whore-Or-BlahG-Show)

Howdya dooya, i see you’ve met my, faithful ghost writer…

2)  Known for the opening lyrics;

Michael Rennie was blogging
The Day the Earth Stood Still
But he told us that we make no sense
And Flash Gordon was there
In silver underwear
Claude Rains was The Invisible Man
Then something went wrong
For Fay Wray and King Kong
They got caught in a celluloid post.
