1)  An acronym for the organization “International Bloggers Olympic Committee”, which oversees the quasi-annual international blogging as a sport event.  Some of the sports include Blog Put, 100-word dash, personal hurdles, synchronized writing, blogging while mountain biking (one of the sports with the most physical injuries) and, the most costly event, water blogging.
